Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1965 rambler, good luck jack, electronic module

Question
hello, after replacing my fuel pump, starter, alternator, coil, new plugs and wires my car still has a difficult time starting. I notice that the fuel filter located after fuel pump and before carb is not getting enough fuel. How do I begin trouble shooting this problem?

Answer
I am not familiar with you system.  I know Model A's.  BUT,  if the fuel pump is an electric one, which I doubt, it should have enough pressure to push through that filter.  If it is a cam driven pump, then I don't understand why it is between the pump and the carb.  first, take the filter off and see if that helps.  Make sure the compression is good. You must have good compression to start well.
At this point, you don't know for sure if it is fuel or spark.  You have to determine that first.  If the removal of the filter helps, then it is probably fuel.  What about timing??  The electronic module?  If it has one.  When it starts, does it run well and smooth??
Good power???  I don't think that car has points.  check the electronic pick up.
