Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1954 Corvette trunk lock, good luck jack, vette clubs

What kind of retainer is used on the inside of the trunk to keep the lock in place on a 1954 Corvette.

I'm not a vette guy, I know about the old Model A's.  Find yourself a vette car club and join it.  They will have all the answers.  If you can find an old service manual, that should show it.  If nothing else, find a vette site on the net and ask them.  If you find the right guy, he will be happy to help you.  There must be vette clubs all over the place.  Be a lot more fun too.
