Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1959 El Camino, chevy el camino, vern

Question
Dear Vern, I own a 1959 Chevy El Camino that was parked for about 25 years. It
has a problem in the front passenger wheel. I am driving along and I put my foot
on the brake and I hear Bam,Bam,bam, bam as I am slowing down. It seems to be
coming front the passenger front wheel. I just had the brakes checked and they
needed to be adjusted, which they were. I have no ideas as to what is causing
this. I have worked on cars all my life. I bought this car from the original
owner 2 years ago. He parked it in 1976 to do some custom work on it. It was
going to be a gift for his son. Interior is from 1964 Caddy, complete.

Do you have any idea whats going on? The car does have alot of original parts
but the brakes are up to date. Could something be causing the front wheel to
lock up? Shoes and Drums are OK.    Thanks Mike Marrocco"

Answer
Being parked for 25 years is a long time. I assume you recondition her properly before you brought her back into service? This is a tough one without knowing more, but let's see if I can steer you in the right direction. If it sounds like it is coming from the wheels, take a look at the rotor, they could be warped.
