Classic/Antique Car Repair: chatter in rt frt. brake, wheel drive car, wheel bearing

Any ideas? Upon very slow stopping(speeds under 4 mph) rt frt wheel chatters.The whole car shudders.Worse when turning the steering wheel very slightly to left, but does ocaisonally when wheel is straight. Steering linkage, control arms, complete disc brake setup inc calipers and hoses are new.Thanks for your time.

I'm a bit in the dark here without knowing what kind of car we're talking about, but this could be a bad (or loose)wheel bearing, which could be very dangerous.  It could also be a warped or overheated rotor - you don't mention if that has been replaced.  If it is a front wheel drive car, it could also be a problem in the half shaft.  I think you'd best take it to a good independent garage for a checkup.  Dick
