Classic/Antique Car Repair: lower control arm bushings/ball joints, alignment shop, ball joints

I am trying to replace the lower control arm bushings/ball joints on a 1969 Chevelle muscle car. I have never done this before, can you tell me from start to finish, how to fix this and how long it should take.

This is really a job for a pro, as it takes special tools and experience.  I can't advise you how to proceed without knowing that you are qualified to do it and have the right tools.  Unless you have experience with this repair, you need to take it to an alignment shop for this work. A mistake on this job can cost you some hospital time!
