Dodge Repair: FRONT TURN SIGNAL, signal lamp, lamp park

I'm trying to replace the outer bulb on the left front turn signal on my 01 Durango, but there doesn't seem to be enough space to pull the bulb assy all the way out. Seems that I need to remove the turn signal assembly. How do I do that?

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove park and turn signal lamp.
Rotate bulb socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull turn signal lamp socket from back of lamp (Park And Turn Signal Lamp bulb).
Pull park and turn signal lamp bulb from socket.
