QuestionQUESTION: I have a problem with the climate control panel in my 96 town and country. The A/C, defroster,recirculate, and rear wiper button LED's do not light and the equipment does not work. The heater always blows hot air, even when setting to cold, and it will not change from blowing only to the floor/defroster. I can't get heat thru the vents or change it's current setting. The panel setting seem to have frozen at the settings they were on when everything else stopped working. The blower motor and control work fine though. Is the panel bad? Thanks, Brian

QUESTION: I wish I lived near just to have you work on my van. I've read many of your posts. I checked fuses and all are fine. I am not sure what the AC control head is though. Other than the blower motor and speed control, the panel seems dead.

QUESTION: I removed ac control head (panel). A blue plug with 21 pins goes into the back of the panel. When looking at the back of the panel, the pin on the bottom and all the way to the right got hot. The plug itself is slightly melted around the wire that plugs into this pin. On the male plug from the wiring harness, the melting is around the wire on the bottom all the way to the left. I can't find a wiring diagram that shows what this wire controls or were it leads to. I rechecked all fuses with a tester and all my fuses are good. Whatever this wire leads to is most likely the problem and ruined my panel. Any ideas where this wire leads? I certainly appreciate the replies you've sent. Thanks, Brian
