AnswerFRONT DOOR TRIM
REMOVAL
CAUTION: Do not pry on door trim panel, damage to trim panel will result.
Using a door handle removal tool, disengage clip holding window crank to regulator and separate crank from door, if equipped Window Crank
Disengage clips holding front of door speaker grille to trim panel and separate grille from trim panel Window Crank
Remove screws holding trim panel to door from inside speaker opening.
Remove screw holding pull cup to trim panel and separate pull cup from door. When installing pull cup, index arrow outward and snap pull cup into trim panel.
Remove screw holding trim panel to door from behind inside latch handle.
If wire harness must remain with door, disengage clips holding power window switch panel to trim panel and separate switch panel from door. Disconnect wire connector from switch, if equipped.
If wire harness must remain with door, disengage clips holding power mirror switch to trim panel and pull switch rearward out of trim panel. Disengage wire connector from mirror switch, if equipped.
If wire harness is to remain with door trim panel, disconnect door jamb connector. Remove fasteners holding wire harness close-out cover to door end frame. Disengage push-in retainers holding door opening weatherstrip to door end frame. Pull harness from under weatherstrip.
Lift trim panel upward to disengage channel retainer at top of trim and tilt trim panel outward.
Disengage wire connector from power door lock switch, if equipped.
Disengage wire connector from speaker, if equipped.
Disengage clip holding linkage rod to inside latch handle and separate rod from handle Door Latch Handle Rod
Lift trim panel upward to disengage hook retainers at bottom of trim panel and separate trim panel from door Front Door Panel Hooks and Lock Button
Disengage wire connector from power door lock motor located on door latch.
From behind door silencer pad, disengage push-in retainers holding wire harness to trim panel.
Remove wire harness from behind silencer pad and separate trim panel from door.
INSTALLATION
Install wire harness behind silencer pad and place trim panel from door.
Behind door silencer pad, engage push-in retainers to hold wire harness to trim panel.
Engage wire connector to power door lock motor.
Place trim panel in position on door and engage hook retainers at bottom of trim panel into holes in door Front Door Panel Hooks and Lock Button
Insert latch rod into clip on latch handle. Engage clip to hold rod to handle Door Latch Handle Rod
Engage wire connector to speaker, if equipped.
Engage wire connector to power door lock switch, if equipped.
Engage trim panel into channel retainer at top door.
If wire harness was removed with door trim panel, route harness under weatherstrip. Engage door jamb connector. Install fasteners to hold wire harness close-out cover to door end frame. Engage push-in retainers to hold door opening weatherstrip to door end frame.
Install screw to hold trim panel to door behind inside latch handle Front Door Trim Panel - Typical
Place pull cup in position into arm rest on trim panel.
Install screw to hold pull cup to trim panel.
Install screws to hold trim panel to door inside speaker opening.
Place speaker grille in position on trim panel. Engage clips to hold door speaker grille to trim panel.
Install window crank, if equipped.
