Dodge Repair: 95 Plymouth Voyager 3.0L heater bypass, heater control valve, plymouth voyager

Question
I want to by pass the heater core on my 95 Plymouth Voyager Van, 3.0 L. I get WARM air coming into the vehicle with the heater "OFF". I see only a heater control valve in one of the hoses to the heater core. When this valve is in the "Off/closed" position there should be no hot water flowing thru the heater core, and I suspect the other side is getting hot from the enigine heat and keeping the heater core warm. Can I just install another heater control valve in this other hose to cut off all heat to the heater core? Will this lack of water circulation damage or overheat anything?

thanks in advance for your help..

Answer
You will need to route the coolant back in to the engine.  Installing another heater control valve in PLACE of the one you've got may actually fix your problem but doubling them up or simply undoing hoses will cause more problems.

If you look at the engine and you see the two hoses coming out going to the heater control valve then those are the two that need to be joined to discontinue flow to the dash.
