Dodge Repair: 95 dodge neon, mr lacey, dodge neon

Question
Dear Mr. Lacey,
Hello, I have a 95 Dodge Neon that has 187k+ miles on it and has had major repairs in the past.  For sometime I have been having trouble with the battery light staying on, but when the light is on the car seems to have a charge.  When the light turns off the car will start to kick and jump like the is no "juice"(lack of a better word).  The atlernator was replaced in the past year.  The date on the battery is 1/90 and is a "diehard".  I have had the battery tested and seems to be fine, ( could be getting old?)  The car would run alright if it wasn't for this.  I really hope I have explained my problem well.  Thanks for your help.
