Ford Repair: 2000 f150 front end, mr frog, ball joint

Question
i have a 2wd 2000 f150 with 68k miles.  within a month, it has started to shake and wander a bit, and the front left wheel seems to screech as tho the bearings are going out, and it gets louder when the brake is pressed.  the truck "cadilac bounces" a good bit now too.  the bounce also seems consistant with the front left wheel.  can all this noise and bouncing be attributed to just the lower ball joint? it seems unheard of to have that many things go bad with such a low mileage, non-abused truck.

Answer
Mr. Frog, the problem could be a bad ball joint.  However, before we go there, check the basics.... tire balance, braking parts (Caliper, rotors, pads...) and check the suspension parts (shocks...).  If all checks out, then ball joint is the issue....  Thanks!
