Ford Repair: ford theft system, automotive electrician, radio back

James, i rescently had a new car stereo installed and now it wont start because of the theft sytem. what do i need to do to start it now.

You have probably tripped the anti theft system somehow.Depending on the year,make,and model.I would either have it taken to the dealer or an automotive electrician.Does it have an aftermarket alarm system?If it is factory,try to put the old radio back in.That may involve getting a code from the dealer,but most store it in their glove box.Now when you say that you"had" the stereo installed,are you saying professionally installed,or you're buddy?If it was a buddy,and he cut any wires,all bets are off.Good luck.Try to fill in the blanks so to speak on you're reply.
