Ford Repair: broken mirrors + interior lights out, fuse tester, salvage yard

hey ! this site is great and you should get meddals for your work here! ok, i tried finding answers all over this site but it's kinda hard to get around! ok, i broke the mirror on the passenger side and today i got hit on the drivers side (mirror also). i tapped them with duct tape (cuz i'm that kinda gal...lol) but i really want to change them. is it simple enough? can i buy them at a scrap yard and switch em myself? Also lights are out in interrior dash board, can't seem to find which fuse that is, any ideas? BTW, most important info i think you need...lol, i have a ford escort 98. Thanks a million! You can pick the mirrors up at a salvage yard.However,most major parts stores have salvage programs where the parts are guaranteed.I have gotten some great deals on second hand parts from Advance.As far as you're dash lights go,buy a fuse tester and test all of the fuses.
