Ford Repair: 94 Mustang, engine crankcase, fuel injectors

Question
I have a 94 Mustang and I was wondering if my motor is gone.  LAst year I push started my mustang not knowing that this is very bad.  After that I got gas in my oil and my car still ran but there was smoke galore so I parked it thinking my motor was going.  It still starts but gas shoots out the tail pipe I was told it is my fuel injectors. Is there still hope for my motor or should I just buy a new one? Also it is a standard and my shift stick moves without pressing on the clutch is this good? I hope you can help me
Thanks
Lauralee

Answer
Good Morning, Lauralee
Well, for starters, your vehicle is fuel injected, you probally flooded the vehicle when you tried to start it. Normally when this happens you get alot of fuel, and it has no, where to go, except in your engine crankcase where, you add the oil. What I would do first, is change your oil, and add fresh. Then I would change your plugs, and plug wires, sounds like maybe you could use a good tune up at your local repair shop. Its not reccommended to push start the vehicle its very hard on the clutch and transmission. You may have something loose on your transmission could be the cause of the loose stick shift.. Your engine is fine, just have a tune up done, and you should be ready to go... Hope this somewhat helps you,,, and Thanks...
