Ford Repair: Ford Contour, ford contour, fuel pressure

Hello

Today  I was going up a small hill and part way up I felt that the engine lost power, after that I pull over and the car stop, since it was a hot day I waited a few minutes to see if It over heated the first time I tried to star the car it sounded like it was going to star but it didn't so I waited a little bet longer and the next time I tried to start the car It didn't do anything, the tank is almost full, there is spark. Do you have any idea, The car has 88000 miles. Is a 2000 ford contour with a 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
The engine needs a few things to run....spark and fuel. I would check the fuel pressure. Alos, I would suggest that you have the computer system checked for fault codes, and go from there. Also, check all of the fluid levels.
