Ford Repair: Brakes, 2000 ford windstar, ford windstar

   I am hearing some sounds from my rear brakes (drums) on my 2000 Ford Windstar but I do not no how to check them or how to take them off to check them.  I checked the front brakes and they look good. Please help!

Hi Scott,
Just remove the rear wheels and remove the small aluminum retainer clips(if drums have never been removed) and discard. The drums should just slide off. If they don't you may need to use some WD-40 and a hammer to loosen them.
