Honda Repair: AC control panel, control panel buttons, honda accord

I have a honda accord 1999 with 230k miles. the ac control panel goes on and off when it feels like it.  one day i turn it on and i get ac and then it goes off automatically.  then it will not come on again until who knows.  then again when the ac comes up it will turn off and will not come back until it feels like it.  when the ac goes away, i only get hot air. the fan will still goes on but no ac.  i cannot see the pattern.  i know one day i get ac and then all of a sudden the ac goes off and will come back whenever.  can you help

Angel, with 230K on the car i would think this would be an issue with your control panel. Buttons are just worn out perhaps? Or this could be an issue with your A/C pump or a relay which controls the A/C system. Has your A/C system been inspected for damage lately? Is there a belt on the A/C? Whichever those are the components you should be checking.
