Honda Repair: D4 light flashing and tranny shifts rough, transmission control module, proper diagnosis

I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX...the RPM guage jumps back and forth and sometimes while driving idles at 0...a few days after noticing this issue the D4 light started flashing and the transmission started to shift roughly..this happened very suddenly which made me think it was not the actualy transmission gone out...I was told it was the Transmission Control Module which i had replaced and did not fix the problem...does anyone have any other suggestions as to what the problem may be?

When the D4 light flashes that is an indication of a problem with the transmission. You will need to have the transmission diagnosed as to what is causing the problem. I'm not sure why you were told to have the Control Module replaced unless they did the proper diagnosis and if they did then you need to get your money back since that was not the problem.
