Honda Repair: oil smells like burning gas, dip stick, oil level

I have no knowlege of car type (it is a honda) but my friends car smells like gas was burning in the oil ....when I went to check the dip stick it reaked like gas .... the gas was low and did not fill gas for 2 days so there was no over fill ....and the oil was hot after a 35 min drive is that normal? the car is a newer car 2-4 years old ... thank you for this service hope to hear from you soon

I am not sure I understand your question but I will try and answer it. It is normal for the oil to be hot, even after 5 minutes of running. Sometimes oil does smell like gas. So thier is probally no problems there. If in doubt, you should get it checked out. Is the car running ok? Was the oil level normal? It is very hard to get gasoline in the oil. The car is probally fine.
