Hyundai Repair: code: P1404, diagnostic module, auto zone

Question
my check engine light is on so i went by the "auto zone" and they checked it for me....it came up with the code P1404,DMTL heater fault proboble cause
aa1- open or shor circuit condition
aa2- poor electricle connection
aa3- faulty DMTL- module faulty
**I DONT KNOW WHAT TO FIX OR NOT FIX? AND IS THIS SERIOUS?

Most likely, the problem is in the DMTL (diagnostic module for tank leakage) itself.  The sole purpose of this module is to test for fuel vapor leaks.  Presuming you have no vapor leaks, then there is no hazard to continuing to drive the vehicle while this problem exists.  It simply means that the vehicle cannot test itself for such leaks.
