Hyundai Repair: 2001 Hyundai Accent E Brake Repair, hyundai accent, great shape

I just bought a used 01 Accent, its in great shape, inspection just ran out.  When the car is in drive, the idle overpowers the ebrake.  I would like an estimate of cost of repair as I may need to fix it for Vermont inspection.

Presuming you need only an adjustment of the cable, expect to pay about 1/2 hour labor-- I'm not sure what the prevailing mechanical labor rate is in your area.

In situations where a cost estimate is desired, I always recommend checking with some reputable shops in your area.  Parts pricing and labor rates will vary from shop to shop as well as geographically (although in this particular case, it's likely no parts will be required).
