Hyundai Repair: Evaporator valve?, fuel vapors, control valve

Question
2004 Sonata GLS:
After refueling, car doesn't want to keep running. Once it gets going, the problem disappears in a block or less. The problem doesn't recur until car is refueled again. Is there a TSB on this?

Answer
There is not TSB on this problem, but the only way I can think of that fueling would affect how the engine runs would be if the purge control valve were stuck open.  In this situation, fuel vapors will be forced out of the tank and into the intake manifold while you're fueling, causing a flooding condition, resulting in the symptoms you describe.

I expect replacing the purge control valve will resolve the issue.
