QuestionDid not notice it at first but the car makes a loud humming noise pretty much all the time...actually sounds similar to a motorcyle. No other problems otherwise, someone mentioned the U joints?

Your vehicle does not have U joints. It only has cv joints and they only turn when vehicle is moving. CV joints does not make humming noise.
If the noise is there even the vehicle is not moving, then you have a problem on the engine. It can be Exhaust manifold crack, a hole on the muffler, alternator or power steering pump giving up e.t.c.
If you can hear the noise only when vehicle is moving, it can be : tires cupping, wheel bearings, tranny bearings e.t.c.
