Hyundai Repair: maf sensor, hyundai accent, trouble code

Question
QUESTION: hi, i have a 2001 hyundai accent and it keeps going through MAF sensors for the last two years.   the code shows a MAF problem, i frist starting cleaning them, but that was just a short fix.  i replaced it with rebuilt, and that works fine for about 6 months, then it goes bad again.  this is the fourth one i have had to replace.   i cannot find any oil/contaminent inside them or any other diagnostic reason for them going bad, so i'm hoping you can direct me.  thanks for the help.

ANSWER: Hello Sal,
Can you let me know which trouble code keeps coming up? And do you feel any abnormality as far as driveability and shifting?

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: the past three times the code was 1101.  the car was quite driveable, with only a rough idle at starting up.  this last code was 0102, and the engine light came on while i was driving with the air conditioning on.  it actually stalled the car, and i couldn't keep it running unless i cut the AC off.  it got me home without a problem, and seems to run okay as long as i keep the AC off.  I tried to force the engine light off using the reader, but it came right back on the second time i started the car.  maybe just a slight rough idle right now.

Answer
Hello sal,
I think you have problem on the maf sensor harness. either it is a ground wire or power wire. You need to check or get checked all the wires between MAF sensor and ECM. Also check the Idle speed actuator and both o2 sensor. They can throw a maf sensor code when tey act rational.
