Hyundai Repair: TPS adjustment sonata 2002, throttle position sensor, whittle

Question
Hi Albert - I replaced the TPS in my car and it will start, but not idle.  I'm told there is an adjustment to set the voltage to certain volts and I have the specs for that, but it doesn't tell me HOW to adjust it.

Answer
Hi, Diana.  I'm sorry it's been so long for you to receive an answer.  It appears that a previous expert left and the questions he didn't answer were simply dumped into the system.  I didn't check here very frequently because the questions all appeared to be at least six months old.  Now, I'm trying to whittle them down little by little along with my other questions.  If you are still having the issue and need more information than I've provided, please follow-up with me.

To adjust the throttle position sensor, loosen the two sensor mounting screws and then rotate until you achieve the desired voltage.  Recheck the voltage after resecuring the sensor to verify it's still within specification.
