Hyundai Repair: Removing a radio from a 2007 Tuscon, pad section, crash pad

Question
Where can I get instructions to remove a radio on a 2007 Tuscon so I can plug in a sat. radio system in the back of it?

Answer
You'll need to remove the shifter cover and bracket and the center dash facia to access the radio.  You can view procedures for removing these items at www.hmaservice.com.  You'll need to register for a free account, and the site requires Internet Explorer.  You can find details on removing the shifter cover in the Console section.  Once that's removed, you'll need to unscrew and move out of the way the bracket underneath the cover.  Then, consult the Crash Pad section for details on removing the center facia.

Although www.hmaservice.com can be difficult to navigate, nearly everything you'd ever need to know about servicing your vehicle is contained there.  If you need assitance navigating or using the site, please follow-up.
