The ignition coil is part of the secondary ignition system, so I suspect that may be the item to which you're referring.  The ignition coil receives pulsed voltage from the engine control module (ECM) or power transistor (depending on year and model of the car) on fuel injected Hyundais.  This pulsed voltage then causes the ignition coil to produce a high voltage current along the spark plug wire to the spark plug.

The cost of an ignition coil will vary by application.  Also, parts prices will vary by the manufacturer of the part, the seller of the part, and geographic location.  The best way to determine pricing is to call a few auto parts stores (and dealers) in your area.
