QUESTION: disc brakes with inside drums for parking

Answer
First raise the vehicle and put it onto approved jackstands. Then the wheel lug nuts must be loosened and remove the wheel/s. Then remove the differential cover and drain the oil from the housing. After it has drained remove the locking bolt that is on the differetnial pinion shaft and remove the pinion shaft.  Then push the outer(flanged) end of the axle-shaft in and remove the C-clip(C-lock) from the inner end of the shaft(DO NOT LOSE THESE!!) Withdraw the axle shaft taking care not to damage the splines on the axle. Note to self after the axle is re-installed it MUST be correctly gapped and marked for it to be done correctly!. Installation is the reverse of the removal process. If this did not help at all Charlie let me know though okay! Lots more knowledge to go around!!
