Isuzu Repair: No air and no heat, deep holes, small kids

Question
I have to drive down a road with some deep holes and when it rains that mean going thru water.  My heat and air and blower have quit! A neighbor check the fuses and it was 'fried' according to him. The fuse was black and under the hood, he said it had melted the switch.  I have 2 small kids and we can't live much longer without air in Texas. Do you think this will be an expensive repair?

Well Kathi. Your relays and fuses should be checked for any shorts and your heat/air console should be checked as well as the blower. I think the repair might run you about 150-250 dollars. Although if your equipment was damaged. Than it could be more, I hope not though!
