Isuzu Repair: car not starting, battery cables, armature

Question
my 99 rodeo is not starting. I have a good charge on the battery and i have put it on my charger overnight. When i turn the key the engine starts to turn then starts making a clicking sound. The alternator is 1year old, so could it be the starter

Answer
Hello Jeremiah, most likely you have a bad connection on the battery, or your starter is siezed, try crawling underneath your rodeo and giving it a few light taps with a hammer, if this works, your starter armature is going bad and you need a new starter. let me know how it goes ok? also check your battery cables for any stiffness or corrosion.
