Isuzu Repair: Firefighting trooper clutch problem, clutch plate, fly wheel

Question
Hello there, I'm a firefighter for a small volenteer fire department and we have a '94 Isuzu Trooper we use for field rescue for remote areas.  Recently (just as winter hit) the clutch pedal goes straight to the floor with no engagement at all, and it wont come back up on it's own.  We looked at the master cyl. and it does have fluid around the big black round thing ( haha excuse my tech talk) as if it has leaked out.  But to me it looks like a brake master cyl. Is this one of those combo brake/clutch deals?  Let me know what you think may be the problem as it's winter now and we need this truck for rescue.

Thank you so much, and Haverhill Fire thanks you for your time!

Answer
Hello matt, i am pretty sure you have air in your cylinder line due to a leak in your system. The fly-wheel or clutch plate most likely has a failed seal causing a leak as well as air entering the sytem, check this and let me know how it goes, good luck on firefighting!
