Jeep Repair: Maintenance light, jeep liberty, gas cap

Hey, I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty (I believe the engine size is 3.7/226). The maintenance light came on this week, and after pulling the code at Auto Zone, we discovered that the gas cap was unscrewed. No big deal, but the maintenance light hasn't yet gone off. Will I need to take the vehicle somewhere to have the lights reset. It's been 48 hours since I found the problem, and have driven a lot since then. Thanks.

Depending on the condition of when the light on the computer will need to see it 3x same condition to turn itself off   Or on the other hand the issue is still there.  There is not a code for a gas cap being off its just the simplest choice that they guys there said.
