Jeep Repair: 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee A/C, jeep grand cherokee, blower motor resistor

Question
The A/C in my Jeep just stopped working--no air period.  The mechanic said it is the blower motor thermostat.  This doesn't make sense to me.  Doesn't the thermostat regukare the heat?  My problem is the a/c doesn't trun on at all.
Thanks.

Answer
u have a  burnt up blower motor resistor and wire. U have auto temp control correct?  New resistor and wiring but the wiring the whole dash has to come out in order to replace it all.
I do this sorta repair on the side a lot of the times  cheaper then a dealer or other shop and I know what I am doing
