Jeep Repair: 95 cherokee Transfer case, jeep cherokee, range switch

1995 Jeep Cherokee A/T 6cly, Tranfer case model 231. Where can I find the vent on transfer case and could you tell me where the backup light on this model is

The vent should have a rubber hose attatched to it leading upward.  They're on the top or on the side yet still close to the top.  

I'm assuming you meant to ask where is the back up lamp switch.  It's located on the right side of the transmission and is referred to as the range switch or PRNDL switch.
