I would like to replace a new bearing of rear axleshaft but i can't remove an old bearing right now,I've remove the drum brake and backing plate retaining nuts already.when i connect a slide hammer and adapter to the flange,I tried to pull the axleshaft many time but i found i can't remove it.
I hope to hear you soon.

Answer
I am not sure which rear axle you have but there are two different types and the way they attach to the housing.  One is by the use of c-clips.  The rear differential cover has to be removed to remove the clips, the axles then slip out.  The other is the type I assume you have, pressed into the axle shaft and removed by "yanking" until it comes free.
If you have the earlier, you know what to do.  If you have the later, "yank" harder, it will come.
