I have a 2008 Land Rover Discovery 3 and it's on high pressure pump No 5, as it constantly goes into limp mode when I am towing my caravan. With the pump being replaced so many times, nobody has an answer why.

If the dealer has not been abel to answer this question in five visits the chances of me answering it with a lucky guess online are about zero.   Robison Service does specialize in solving difficult problems, and one way we do it is by actually devoting the time to test systems thoroughly, and understand how they work.

Most dealer techs - in contrast - simply swap parts and walk away if the quick fix and a call to tech line does not work.  Few dealer techs want to get into what may be 5-10 hours of testing with no certain result.

However, that is probably where you are at now.  You need to find someone who understands the system and has all the test gear, and you need to be willing to pay them for the time to find an answer - which will probably be costly.

I have no idea where to recommend you go; we receive Rovers from all over the east coast because there are so few specialists.
