Land Rover Repair: alarm, superlock, brooklyn ny

I have a 99 disco and the remote opener is not functioning.  The alarm has gone
off in the car and I dont know how to turn it off with the remote.  What is the
sequence.  Also if by now the battery is dead, and I call AAA will the doors open
and is there something special that the AAA man should know.   Thanks so

If the remote is not working, the first thing to do is to change the remote batteries.  To disable the alarm with the remote, you should just be able to hit the unlock button on the remote.

If the alarm is going off and the remote is not working, you can turn the alarm off by starting the car with the key.

If the doors are locked in superlock, you can only unlock the doors with the alarm remote.
