Land Rover Repair: Disco Purchase - 03 to 04, corrosion problems, rover owner

Hi John.  I am a previous Range Rover owner (many years ago), and I am now
interested in purchasing a Disco.  I really like the SE7's 2003-2004.  Any helpful
advice would be appreciated.  I am definately going to buy used.  Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim,

so the high cost of repair is no surprise for you.

The model year you are considering is a good choice.  Headgasket problems have been a problem for some, water ingress, flakey power window and door locks still seem to shadow the vehicle.  RR air suspension still has a few leaks...if you know what I mean.  No as many electrical corrosion problems have been reported.
