Land Rover Repair: Land Rover Sensor?, sensor error, fuel rail

I have an error that says Fuel temp. sensor error. What would cause this?  

Answer
The fuel temp sensor is a component on the upper front of your motor, on the fuel rail.  The code suggests that the sensor or its associated wiring has a problem.

Most people would replace the sensor since it's a $25 part, and if the code returned they'd dig deeper.
