Land Rover Repair: 91 Range Rover dash light - rad or battery?, coolant fluid, rangie

Question
I own a GDE 1991 Range Rover and noticed an interesting light flashing on my home from work today.  It flashed red and the picture looked like the radiator.  I checked the coolant fluid level which was a little low and added soem coolant to see if that solved the problem, but alas the problem persisted till I got home.  The light is on the bottom row of warning lights on the far right, lower corner.  Please help!
Thanks
Jackson

Answer
Hi Jackson,

I think that is the battery symbol and not a radiator icon.  Check your battery and alternator to see if they are working properly.  I don't own a '91 Rangie but would guess that the only symbol that looks close to a radiator (that I am aware of) is the battery.

Could be that the alt is not charging the battery properly, in which case, check the alt and belt.
