Land Rover Repair: Warning lights on, land rover freelander, warning lights

Question
I have a Land rover Freelander 98 XE and have just read your answer to the question about TC, ABS and Incline lights being on. I have the same problem so I tried disconnecting the battery like you suggested. The lights are still on unfortunatly. The stereo isn't connected properly at the moment, it's got a loose earth wire. Could that be what's causing the problem or is it irrelevant?

Your help with this would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks, Carlos

Answer
Hi Carlos,

if you have a ground wire that's loose, I'd fix it quickly.  You can never tell what will be affected by this.  I've seen a glovebox light knock out the rear brake lights.

LR wiring is (too) complex and it would not surprise me that this is causing you trouble.

Fix the known faults and see what happens. In this case, the fix would be very inexpensive to perform.

Best of luck,
