Lexus Repair: power steering fluid coming out reservoir cap, power steering fluid, yellowish color

have just put on new rack, replaced pump, but still have fluid coming out cap as well as fluid is now a yellowish color .    any suggestions.   the car is 94 sc400 w/142,000 miles.

Hello B.J., The fluid is coming out because there is air in the system. At times you may have to let the car sit for a hour or so just to let the air work its way out. Also try to start the car for a second or two at a time then let it sit again. This can take a while to get the air out.
