Lincoln/Mercury Repair: Mercury Villager Gas Tank Replacement, mercury villager, prime motivation

I have a rather Large hole in the gas tank of my 99 mercury villager van. It is about the size of a quarter.  How much should it cost to repair or replace this part of my vehicle? I need to know so that I don't get ripped off.

That is my prime motivation for voluteering for this site, to help folks not get ripped off!

Wholey moley, the tank lists for $561.62 part number XF5Z9002AA. I would check at a junk yard personally. Book time calls for 1.8 hours to install. If you get a used tank, they get an extra 1.0 to clean it.
