Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 93 Lincoln Towncar Air Conditioner, amp fuse, lincoln towncar

Question
I have a 93 Lincoln Towncar and the air conditioner is blowing hot air.  We have changed the 15 amp fuse since this worked a few years ago when the same thing happened. However, the clutch is not engaging. Any other suggestions?  Also, my right rear window will not go back up.  I hear the motor running but no go.  Thanks for any help.

Answer
Hi Karen,

The A/C needs to be recharged, the clutch on the compressor will not come on if there is no freon in the system. This also means there is a leak. This must be repaired also. I stress taking it to an auto a/c guy. The dealer is not a good choice here.

The rear window is likely a bad register and that needs to go to an auto window guy.
