Question - Thank you so much for the sweet compliment about my name, Pete! As a followup question though, I was kinda kidding about the duct tape! Seems like that wouldn't hold for very long!  And the other problem I can already see would be, short of me driving my car into a lake and dive under to see where the bubbles come from (I'm kidding again here), how would the guys at a garage find the hole???  Pete, you wouldn't happen to know an honest mechanic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, would you?

Hello Pete,

After my above car is sitting in the garage for two or three days, if I decide to drive it, I have to sit with the motor going for about four or five minutes to allow the suspension system to raise the car up.  I've been told by the Ford dealers that the suspension system needs to be replaced and that it would cost over $2000.  The car is in perfect condition, other than that problem.  Could you give me a recommendation as to if I should get it fixed, considering the age, and if so, can it be done cheaper and how (like, using duct tape somewhere!)??

I realize my questions might be out of your comfort zone but I am a single woman and it seems like everytime I go to a car mechanic, I get ripped off.  Thought you could give me some artillery to make them "think" I had some car smarts.  Thank you for any help and advice you can give.
