Mazda Repair: 1993 mazda mx6 serp. belt tensioner noise, 1993 mazda mx6, mazda mx6

My daughter has a 93 mx6.  One of the long bolts that runs thru the serpentine belt tensioner will not tighten and rattles against the engine. The bolt is too long to remove without lifting the engine. The tensioner is ok just noisey.  Does the bolt screw into the engine or did a nut fall off.  Can I see it better from under the car?  I was considering cutting the bolt in small pieces until I can remove it all.  What do you think?

i ran into that problem before myself. it's an aluminum block so more then likely the tread is striped there is no  bolt it's treaded right to the engine block you don't have to remove the engine to get the bolt out you can lossen the engine mount on the left side and jack the motor up to remove the bolt.
