Question

Answer
Have the battery tested. Perhaps it is nearing the end of its useful life despite the fact that it is still starting your car.

Also, in warmer climates, wiring can sometimes become brittle and stop working properly. It usually does not usually fail on such a late model naturally aspirated car, but it is still a possibility.

Another thing to consider is the possibility that a wire has simply been knocked loose. If work has been performed on the car lately, then this is a possibility. If a loose wire is causing the light to come on, then it is possible that it is only there to operate the light, and your car will be fine. Of course, it is nice to have a working light, so you will want to take care of the problem in any case.
