Mazda Repair: Tail light removal 2000 Protege, 10mm nuts, tail light

This is the first time I've owned a vehicle and wanted to replace a tail light and have no idea how. It looks as if the whole unit needs to be removed to get at the bulb, any help please

whole tail light asmembly has to be removed.. in the back of the trunk you will see some small plastic pushpins, they are black or grey,u have to release them using a small screwdriver, they just pop out. then remove the whole plastic back piece. now you will see some gold colored nuts, i think there's 2 of them.. these are 10mm nuts. once you un-bolt it you will have to give it a slight tap to release it from its tab. if you have the owners manual it should explain on how to do this
