Mazda Repair: 2002 Mazda Tribute Inner Door Handle, mazda tribute, screw out

I need to replace the chrome inner door handle on my Tribute.  I've removed the entire plastic panel (by removing 3 or 4 screws inside the handle and around perimeter of door) but can't figure out how to remove the old handle.

Hi Jamie thanks for asking
Sorry to say this but the whole door panel does not have to come off to replace this door handle, If you pul back on the handle you will see a little cap, lift that off and undo the phillips head screw out, push the plastic case towards the front of the vehicle, and unclip the two cables for the handle and the  lock, and to install, just use the reverse orde.
