Mercedes Benz repair: fuel injection 1985 380 sl, fuel pressure regulator, airflow sensor

Car will start and run if i press down on the air flow plate and leave a small crack but after it warms up will stumble and not pull itself under its own power. have replaced fuel pump and fuel pump relay and injectors. runs fine sitting still, revs nice but wont go without stumbling

did your replace your fuel pressure regulator. Check your hoses that go into the intake especially to your idle control air valve .if all are hooked up on your airflow sensor plate there will be an allen head screw that can adjust your airflow intop your throttle body.seems like it is almost running to rich or too lean  you will need to adjust it

otherwise find a used airflow sensor plate if you clean your old one out id suggest cleaning your idle cntrol air valve and your throttle body also it may be gummed up good luck
